Designed by London based designer Mark Gabbertas, the durable yet minimal stainless steel frames are teamed with soft, pillow-like cushions to give the impression of the furniture almost floating above the ground.

 

Hidden behind a soft welcoming exterior, Cloud utilises the very latest fabric and cushion technology to ensure flawless performance in the harsh outdoor environment. Waterproof seat and back cushions are wrapped with Leisuretex fabric in a choice of three classic colours.

Comprising of 28 individual units, the Cloud collection is the most modular and flexible outdoor seating collection ever designed. Each Cloud unit is available in a choice of three fabric colours - Onyx, Ivory and Taupe. Table tops are offered in three materials - slatted teak, Ivory and Onyx coloured quartz stone.

The fabrics used for seat and back cushion covers is Leisuretex - similar to a traditional PVC sling, but with the addition of 100% polypropylene yarns within the weave to offer increased comfort. This new range of 100% polypropylene textiles combines distinctive Italian style with groundbreaking technical characteristics, including excellent light-fastness, anti-mildew and easy washable.

 

Cushion covers can be easily removed via their Velcro attachments to enable cleaning. There is no need to dis-assemble the furniture to enable removal of the covers.

 

Cushions are designed to be virtually waterproof, so no water can enter into the cushion filling itself. In the unlikely case that any water does enter, the design of the cushions allows for it to drain away quickly. The interior of the back cushion is constructed from a moulded polypropelene core with polyethylene foam rim secured to a tubular stainless steel frame. Attached to this rigid core is a dacron fibre fill enclosed inside a waterproof liner. Seat cushions are constructed using a reticulated foam core with a dacron wrap. All seams on cushions are sealed with waterproof sealing tape to ensure no water can enter the cushions.

 

Frames are made from fully welded, electro-polished 304 graded stainless steel. PVC sling seat panels allow water to drain through and are fixed to the stainless steel using powder coated aluminium rails.
